Clear Sky Alpacas, LLC is a small farm in Central Michigan that
raises Huacaya and Suri alpaca possessing quality fiber. Our animals are
shorn once a year and their fiber is used by a variety of talented people to
produce yarn, felted items, and works of art.
We sell raw fleece, natural and hand dyed roving, hand and mill
spun yarns, and finished products.
2oz Bundle of Mill Swirled Huacaya/Suri Blend Roving
This roving is natural brown from our Huacaya alpaca, Carly, mixed with natural fawn
Suri alpaca from Siesta. Zeilinger's in Frankenmuth Michigan then
swirled our Huacaya Lacey's white fleece over the brown. The
blending of the Huacaya and Suri fibers makes this roving a delight for
spinners!
2oz Bundle Hand Dyed Huacaya Roving
Spruce / Purple / Fuchsia
Mill Swirled
This roving is from Queenie's fleece. I hand dyed her white
fleece with Spruce, Purple and Fuchsia Jacquard acid dyes. Zeilinger's in
Frankenmuth, Michigan then combined the purple and fuchsia together and swirled
over the spruce and made this lovely roving. This roving is very soft and
would be perfect to spin, felt, or craft with.
