Clear Sky Alpaca
News!
Clear Sky Alpacas participated in the recent MIAF Alpaca Show held in Grand Rapids, MI. We showed 2 of our Junior Herdsires, Clear Sky's Jet Stream and A Legacy By Lord Stanley. The bay black juvenile class had 11 entries. We were very pleased that both our boys brought home ribbons! Jet, a fourth place, and Legacy, a sixth. Great comments from the judge about both boys and their fleece.
 
On January 22, 2011 the Priority Auction was held in Las Vegas,
Nevada. Although we were not able to attend in person, we were able to
watch via the internet and to place our bids via the telephone.
The alpaca being offered for sale were of very high quality and
sought after by many of the people in attendance and on the phone lines.
We had our eye on several of the lots available and we are thrilled to announce
our purchase of 3 lots - all from
Ausable Valley Alpacas!
Thank you Jay Ward for providing such
wonderful girls. We are looking forward to their arrival and excited about
what they will be adding to our breeding program.
Nova's Ausable Trick or Treat, bred to STF Jetson will be
providing a cria this Spring. Ausable Valley's Faerytale bred to Peruvian
Lancaster will not only be providing a summer cria, but is bringing along her
daughter Liberty Belle sired by Franklin's Liberty! SPA Peruvian Tapestry
will be providing a late summer cria sired by AuSable Valley's Ascent plus she
is bringing along daughter Mountain Muse.
